Eye Mask and Ear Plugs When traveling long distances nothing helps me better than a good nap and as a child I didn’t take naps very kindly, it was like I was being punished for having to go to bed. My parents knew taking a nap not only prevented “bags” under my eyes, it made me more productive. Now more than ever I understand the significance of naps, for one, your more refreshed in managing your time and energy. Second, napping restores alertness. Thirdly, always on the go, go, go, a nap prevents burnout because racing without a rest leads to stress and frustration…No Bueno. Fourth, a nap heightens sensory perception according to Dr. Sara C. Mednick, napping can restore the sensitivity of sight, hearing, and taste, napping also improves your creativity by relaxing your mind and allowing new thoughts to form. Fifth, a nap reduces the risk of heart disease. According to a 2007 study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine taking a midday siesta at least three a week are 37% less likely to die from heart disease? and working men are 64% less likely?!!!!!. People who nap lazy. They maybe the smartest, most productive people you know. Michael Hyatt
Footwear for Travel and Leisure
While traveling on a plane or by car flip flops or socks will come in handy especially when your feet are tired and need a rest. Flip-flops are ideal for avoiding the dirty, filthy bathroom and aisle floors of an airplane. And the same goes for the inside of your car, hopefully the inside isn’t so gross but you’ll still you’ll want to travel with a pair of flip-flops or socks to keep your feet clean, trust me.
